iPhone 8 & iPhone 8 Plus Launched; Price in India Starts at Rs. 64,000

The much-awaited smartphone Apple iPhone 8 India price will start at Rs 64,000 for the 64 GB version. Just like the previous models, Apple has kept the price on the higher end. While the 64GB version is available for Rs 64,000, you will have to pay Rs 77,000 for the 256 GB variant, according to a report by The Indian Express. Meanwhile, the Apple iPhone 8 Plus India price starts at Rs 73,000 for the 64GB version, while the 256GB version will cost Rs 86,000. While it was already confirmed that both these phones will go on sale from September 29 in the Indian market, the pre-booking dates are also out.
According to a press release by Brightstar, the customers will be able to pre-order iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus starting Friday, 22nd Sep-17 at various authorised stores in North and East India. These will be available in stores starting Friday, 29th Sep-17.Coming to the features, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are a new generation of iPhones featuring a new glass and aluminium design in three beautiful finishes – space grey, silver and a new gold – made with the most durable glass ever in a smartphone, Retina HD displays, A11 Bionic chip and is designed for the ultimate augmented experience.
Apple has promised a better camera than its previous models. The iPhone 8 Plus features dual 12-megapixel cameras and introduces Portrait mode with Portrait Lighting, bringing dramatic studio lighting effects to iPhone, allowing customers to capture stunning portraits with a shallow depth of field effect in five different lighting styles.
 
However, the customers in India will have to wait for a while before getting their hands on iPhone X. The pre-booking for this variant will begin on 27th October and it will be available at stores from 3rd November, 2017. iPhone X features a gorgeous all-glass design with a beautiful 5.8-inch Super Retina display, A11 Bionic chip, wireless charging, an improved rear camera with dual optical image stabilization and Face ID, enabled by the new TrueDepth camera.
