Now, in order to find your mobile phone’s IMEI number, simply dial *#06# from your mobile phone and note down your phone’s IMEI number for any future reference. If you didn’t save your IMEI number, then also no need to worry. The IMEI number of your mobile phone is given on the backside of the box in which the mobile was packed when you first purchased it.
How to Block mobile number using IMEI Number?
- At first, Go to your nearest police station and lodge a complaint regarding your lost/missing mobile phone. In most cases, the police use the IMEI tracker technology to locate the mobile phone. But in some cases, it may not be possible for the police officers to track down the mobile phone. Now the only option left for you is to block mobile number using IMEI number of your mobile phone to save your sensitive information from misuse. So, in that case, proceed to the point mentioned below.
Note:- Please do remember to block your mobile number using IMEI only after lodging a complaint in the police station as you need to provide proof/copy of your police complaint and additional documents if required.
- Contact your Mobile Network service provider and ask them to block mobile number using IMEI number. They will ask for the proof/copy of your police complaint and other documents if needed.
- Once you provided the required documents, your network service provider operator will then block mobile number using IMEI number.
